Reading 2: Space and Place???

  1. If sight and touch are key senses that lend us perception of our space and place, and if taste, smell, and skin sensitivity only "enrich" this apprehension, what can we expect of the blind who are sometimes dependent on these "enriching" senses?
  2. Our thoughts, actions, and identities are of high importance to us in that we dedicate keen analysis and perception of them. What about the importance of the space we exist in?
  3. As we differentiate the space in which we exist in and the place we exist in, to the degree of our comfort, are we only able to define our physical and mental existence through individual judgment?
  4. If our perception of our space and place and sense of orientation stem from our consciousness, can we not shape or define our experiences on a more personal level? At the expense of externalities?
  5. What makes mythical spaces and pragmatic spaces different?
